Job Title: Engineering Apprenticeship Coordinator

Employment Term: Full time, Permanent

Positions: 2 available

Location: North East

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum plus attractive benefit package including travel allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experience engineers to join our Engineering Apprenticeship Team. The successful candidates will either have industrial or educational experience within the Engineering Sector. Assessing and Teaching experience is desirable. Some travel within England may be required and therefore applicants must have a current driving licence and be a car owner.

Job Purpose:

  • Working with clients, learners and team members to provide customer centric training programmes.
  • Undertaking Initial Assessments and Inductions as required.
  • Delivering Work-based NVQ programmes.
  • Providing timely learner reviews and tutorial.
  • Managing caseloads within appropriate timescales to support learners to achieve qualifications.
  • Liaising with Internal Verifiers, External Verifiers, Managers, Learners and Team members.

 Successful candidates will:

  • Hold a Minimum of Level 3 Qualification in Engineering subject.
  • Have up to date knowledge and experience of the Engineering industry.
  • Hold Assessing Qualification or Teaching Qualifications (or willing to work towards).
  • Good at Microsoft office software.
  • Be flexible and self-motivated with a passion for learner achievement and a commitment to quality.

Desired Qualities:

  • Experience of NVQ Qualifications.
  • Hold Internal Verification qualification.
  • Engineering experience in pharmaceutical and/or instrumentation.
  • Health and Safety accreditation and Project Management Skills.

These are a full time, permanent positions subject to a satisfactory DBS check. Salary is competitive depending upon experience and qualifications. Training will be provided as necessary.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experience engineers to join our BTEC delivery team. The successful candidates will either have industrial or educational experience within the Engineering Sector. Teaching experience is desirable.

Job Purpose: To work with the delivery team members and employers to teach BTEC qualification in accordance with the standards set by TDR, funding and awarding bodies, OFSTED and other business requirements.

Successful candidates will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one.
  • Hold a level 4 Engineering qualification or above.
  • Have up to date knowledge and experience of the Engineering industry.
  • Be flexible and self-motivated with a passion for learner achievement and a commitment to quality.

Desired Qualities:

  • Have proven experience of delivering BTEC courses (Mechanical principle, Mechanical measurement, Electro Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Manufacturing plan, CAD, CNC, Engineering Design, Welding and Fabrication subjects)

  • Customer service
  • Business Administration

Job Purpose:

  • Working with clients, learners and team members to provide customer centric training programmes;

  • Teaching qualifications – PTLLS or equivalent;
  • Internal Verification qualification and experience;
  • Experience of delivering Functional Skills for young and adult learners;
