Job Title: Science Apprenticeship Tutor

Employment Term: Contract

An opportunity has arisen for experienced Science Apprenticeship Tutor to join our Science Apprenticeship Team. The successful candidates will have industrial and/or educational experience, within the Science Sector. Teaching experience is required.

Job Purpose: to work with the Science Apprenticeship team members, employers and the Apprentices to deliver and facilitate the Science Apprenticeship Framework in accordance with the standards set by TDR, funding and awarding bodies.

Successful candidates will:

  • Hold a minimum of a HNC or a degree in a science subject.
  • Have experience of delivering level 3 BTEC Applied Science.
  • Hold Teaching Qualifications.
  • Good at Microsoft office software.
  • Be flexible and self-motivated with a passion for learner achievement and a commitment to quality.

Desired Qualities:

  • Experience of delivering LATA (Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities).
  • Health and Safety accreditation and Project Management Skills.
  • Have up to date knowledge and experience of the Science industry.

We are looking for an Administrator to join our Business Development team, the successful candidates for the position will need to have recruitment administration work experience, preferably within educational sectors. The Business Development Administrator will be responsible for a range of recruitment, marketing, sales and administrative duties. People interested in a Marketing Apprenticeship will also be considered. Some travel in the North East may be required and therefore applicants must have a current driving licence and be a car owner.

Job Purpose:

  • coordinating and supporting the recruitment process;
  • acting as the link between business development and delivery teams;
  • Interviewing potential candidates including completing new starter paperwork;
  • delivering a multi-channel marketing and communications approach supporting business development events and digital marketing communications.

 Core Skills and Attributes

This role requires a number of key skills and knowledge:

We are looking for an Administrator to join our Business Development team. Job Purpose:

The Recruitment Administrator’s position involves extensive telephone work and face to face contact with our candidates and clients, to source and select the ideal candidate’s to fill Apprenticeship vacancies. Administration is also a key aspect of the role, ensuring that suitable candidates have fully completed application packs. The role is predominantly a candidate management position, to guarantee that our clients’ requirements are consistently met.

Key duties to include:

  • Source and select the right candidates for Apprenticeships;
  • Network and advertise to potential candidates;
  • Interview potential candidates including completing new starter paperwork;
  • Speaking to clients on a regular basis;
  • Ensure we have a large pool of candidates readily available to use;
  • Posting, reviewing and monitoring job advertisements;
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries appropriately and professionally;
