Following government guidance, both TDR sites will remain closed to apprentices/employers/new candidates and employees of TDR for the foreseeable.
All employees of TDR are working from home and are contactable either by email to their work email accounts or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or ringing 0191 4911505. For TDR, in these unprecedented times, we will continue to work to the best of our ability, providing the fantastic service we have always done. It may be somewhat challenging, but not impossible.
We will also continue to work towards government guidance in relation to being an independent training provider. We appreciate this is an uncertain time for all and for further information please click here.
If you are an employer and have any queries regarding your apprentices’ employment, please visit the ACAS website here.
As an organisation, we will continue to keep you updated at regular stages.
“The EAAP was the start and very positive experience throughout my journey with TDR. As an organisation, TDR definitely looks out for you and help you as long as you are willing to do the work. I ended up coming out of the EAAP programme confident and with an apprenticeship which I enjoy.”

“TDR has lead me to continuously progress and to my goal which is to gain a degree in Engineering. The experience was really beneficial, it gave me real-life experience and prepared me for going into work, overall it’s made me more confident.”
Owen Scott - Engineering Apprenticeship Access Programme
‘TDR Training is a place where a group of people that have experience in engineering teach you about engineering and they also teach you real life skills that are essential throughout life. You are treated like adults / apprentices which will help me when I actually start an apprenticeship’.
Matthew Robinson - Engineering Apprenticeship Access Programme
“I am so pleased that I now have an apprenticeship with a successful company and feel motivated to do my very best in my apprenticeship and career. I would recommend this course to anyone who would like a career in engineering.”
Kieran Fontaine - Engineering Apprenticeship Access Programme

Through structured engagement with schools and TDR’s family learning programmes, TDR Trust makes learning a positive and enjoyable experience.
TDR Trust will encourage young people to take an interest in how things work, help develop an enthusiasm for lifelong learning, and provide encouragement, support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
