The customer service sector is all about covering all aspects of customer service, from understanding and meeting customer needs, giving a great customer experience, learning from feedback and promoting your products and services. Customer Service Specialist needs to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and behaviours as well as strong product and/or service knowledge.

Typical Tasks

  • Help customers on the phone and by email, by delivering professional customer service.
  • Be first point of contact for customer and deal with enquires in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Answering customer queries
  • You will be expected to take the initiative and rise to different challenges each day
  • Work in a fast paced, target focused environment constantly striving to ensure we are providing the best member service
  • Resolve simple queries efficiently
  • Building rapport with customers

Entry criteria

4 or 5 GCSEs at grade 9 to 3 (A* to D) including English and Mathematics for a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
