About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Electrical and Electronics Engineer to step into a tutoring role, delivering training to apprentices and helping them develop essential technical skills. Full teacher training will be provided, giving you the chance to gain qualifications while making a real impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and mentoring to apprentices in electrical and electronic engineering.
  • Support apprentices in developing both technical and professional skills.
  • Plan, assess, and review learning programmes aligned with apprenticeship standards.
  • Foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

 

About You:

We’re looking for enthusiastic professionals or graduates who want to share their knowledge and develop a career in education. Your ability to inspire and mentor apprentices will be key to their success.

 

Essential Experience:

  • Industrial/vocational experience in electrical and electronic engineering (for experienced applicants).
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronics principles (for both experienced engineers and graduates).

 

Desired Experience:

  • Teaching or training experience (not essential—training will be provided).
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and curriculum planning.

 

Qualifications:

  • Level 4 qualification minimum in electrical and electronics.
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
