Electricity at work Regulations 1989
Health and Safety at Work 1974
Identifying Electrical Hazards
Safe Methods of Working – PPE and First Aid
Basic Electrical Awareness
Shock / Fault Protection
Basic electrical theory (Ohms law, Power)
Correct Use of Hand Tools
Wiring of Electrical Panels (Isolator, basic stop-start circuits)
Cables – Insulation, Continuity & Voltage
PAT Testing – Safe Use of PAT Equipment and class ratings 1 & 2
Voltage Testers & Proving units, test methods
Multi Meter – Safe Use of Multi-Meter, and its functions.
All attendees will receive a TDR certificate that shows attendance and subjects covered.
