Business Administration Apprentice (Bridon)

General Description

To provide support to the Newcastle Quality team, including data management, report writing, filing scanning, diary management, completion of monthly reporting, plus other ad hoc administration duties as and when required

Main Duties

With a continuous focus on Quality the following are the key accountabilities:-

  • Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Organise site visits including the co-ordination of diaries, conferencing facilities, hotel, travel bookings and catering
  • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for site management team
  • Collate data to produce statistics and reports as required for site management team.
  • Screen telephone calls, enquiries and requests and handle appropriately
  • Maintaining and improving office systems, including data management, filing, scanning etc
  • Maintaining accurate records in the attendance management system, including holiday bookings
  • Arranging travel and accommodation including meeting venues, hotel reservations, transport documentation, itineraries as required
  • Organizing site events, such as town halls quarterly, long service awards annually, etc.
  • Act as support for site management team as and when necessary
  • Distribute post, and administer DHL parcels
  • To ensure that all information remains confidential
  • SAP master user including booking goods in, receipting of goods, and raising requisitions
  • Generation of Test Certificates for finished goods
  • Creating and maintaining systems to deal with lockers allocation, clocking cards, key fobs and overalls
